These craft kits are created for lovers of embroidery who are looking for something a little different to the more traditional hoop art or cross stitch kits. These kits contains 3 sardines, each decorated with a different design hand screenprinted on to three different colours of 100% wool felt. The kits also includes stitch guide and instuction booklet, needles, dmc threads, glass beads and reclaimed sequins for a bit of sparkle.
THERE ARE TWO COLOUR WAYS TO CHOOSE FROM:
TROPICAL with pink, ornage and yellow felt
MEDITERRANEAN with blue, lilac and mint felt
Make your choice at checkout.
EASY TO MAKE FOR BEGINNERS AND BEYOND
With these kits, there’s no fiddly transfer methods, stitching can start quickly and easily following the pre-printed design, ideal for beginners and beyond. How much is decorated and with what stitches are used is up to the individual, meaning each ornament is unique. When complete, there is a clear dashed line to cut around for each project piece. These ornaments make great gifts for lovers of seaside living, they can be displayed in frames, swimming in shoals or peaking out of a tin!
SUSTAINABLE & SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESSES
Designed and produced in South East London, the ornaments are hand screenprinted onto 100% wool felt (Oeko-Tex and EN71 approved) using eco-friendly water based inks. The beads provided are glass and the sequins are responsibly sourced: being either deadstock or from secondhand and vintage traders. Sewyeah aims to be a sustainable and plastic free company.

CHOOSE FROM:
TROPICAL pink/yellow/orange
MEDITERRANEAN blue/lilac/peppermint
8 page full colour instruction booklet with stitch guides and inspiration images
DMC Mouline Embroidery floss + metallic Diamant thread
Embroidery needles
A mix of vintage and preloved beads and sequins for extra sparkle
A pokey stick to help with stuffing
All you will need to provide to create your sardines are embrodiery scissors and stuffing - I recommend using scrap fabric; such as soft cotton sheets or similar rather than toy stuffing as it gives a good weight to the finished fish (and is better for the planet!!)
