EMBROIDERED FELT GIFT BOXES FOR TABLE PRESENTS OR CRACKER ALTERNATIVES
 
These boxes stand around 10 cm tall and would look lovely as a place setting on a party table,   filled with little gifts, jokes and of course a paper hat, but they also make extremely elegant gift boxes. The Toadstool Trinket box is larger at 14cm square and  has taken up residence on my bedside table and I use it to keep all manner of important things in it.
 
This project came about when I was thinking of alternatives to Christmas Crackers. I could have made some felt crackers, but I wanted to do something a little different and something that would be useful all year round. The first box I made was the pink cracker box, I like how it looks a bit like the frilly ends of a cracker and that the lid unfolds rather than gets removed. Halfway through making the blue tassel box, I realised how much it resembled a mushroom with its domed lid, so of course, I then had to make the larger, toadstool version.
  
This PDF contain all the instructions and stitch guides you need to make three Boxes of Delight, The Toadstool Trinket Box, The Tassel Box and the Cracker Box. There is also a separate set of templates designed to be printed out in black and white on either A4 or US letter size paper.
 
This downloadable embroidery project contain all the instructions and templates you need to make three styles of embroidered felt gift box. The instruction booklet has full colour step by step photographs and written instructions. 
 
 
The templates come set up for  both UK A4 and US Letter printers

The TEMPLATE PDF has been designed to be viewed or printed at 100% on both A4 and US LETTER sized paper and is monochrome to save on ink when printing. This project is designed to be a decoration and not a toy. As they are hand-sewn there may be small bits that could be pulled off by little fingers. Please keep out of reach of unaccompanied children and cats.
