Welcome to Honey the Stargazing Hare, a new Sewyeah embroidery kit, designed to be the perfect partner to the best selling Huxley the Hare. 
 
The beauty of stitching Honey is there are no tricky transfer methods or tracing designs onto fabric. Everything you need is preprinted onto lovely soft 100% wool felt, simply thread your needle and begin. Once the embroidery is complete, the printed pattern pieces include clear cutting guides, making construction straightforward and enjoyable.
 
Honey is decorated with a woodland scene of toadstools and wildflowers, inspired by  hedgerows and harvest. She comes in two colour palettes; these beautiful Autumnal tones - rich reds, chestnut, corn and metallic gold.  The alternative Spring palette is made up of brighter pinks, lilacs, oranges and limey greens.
 
The 100% wool felt is soft yet durable, and because it is sturdy enough to stitch without an embroidery hoop, it's an ideal take-anywhere project. Everything is packaged in a slimline card envelope that slips easily into a project bag or hand luggage. 
 
The kit includes a beautifully illustrated 16-page full-colour instruction booklet packed with step-by-step guidance, embroidery tips and construction techniques. Written instructions are accompanied by clear photographs, stitch tutorials and illustrated stitch diagrams, making the project suitable for confident beginners and experienced stitchers alike. 
 
Stitches used: Satin stitch, Lazy daisy, Whipped back stitch, French knots and there are specially designed areas on the felt for you to practice your stitches and get a feel for the project.

*For stuffing, I recommend using scraps of clean cotton fabric, old bed linen or similar materials rather than polyester toy stuffing. This gives Honey a pleasing weight while making use of materials you may already have at home.
