What makes you, you?
 
The first Make-A-Long project of 2023 is this delightful Mini Me. 
I wanted to develop this Mini Me project so you can create your own likeness in felt form, a little mascot that you can talk kindly to, fill with affirmations and love. My Mini Me has embroidered floral feet, protective stars on her back, and a bejewelled hairstyle, she is wearing tiny versions of one of my favourite dresses and shirts. I often find myself chatting to her, discussing conundrums and I definitely think the act of vocalising my thoughts helps me process them more quickly rather than letting them whirl around in my head!  
 
To help you design your own Mini Me I’ve created a worksheet with a few boxes to fill in to get you thinking about your favourite colours, happy places, joyful thoughts etc.  You can use these answers to inform your embroidery decoration and designs. There’s also a little Mini Me shilouette so you can experiment with hairstyles and outfits. You can download the worksheet here. It’s designed to be printed out on A4 or US Letter paper. Grab a cuppa and some colouring pens and take a few mindful moments for yourself.
