This little bundle of fruit designs are perfect for any summer stitching you may be planning. Originally designed as the three dimensional decoration to the FREE Simple Glasses Case project (available here) I bet you will find many more uses for them as they are so versatile.
Included in this download are designs, stitch guides and templates for cherries, banana, blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, kiwi, peach, raspberry, citrus slices and pineapple.
There are also step by step photographic instructions on how to create this quirky three dimensional effect inspired by the the 14th century Italian embroidery technique called Trapunto but this felt version is more forgiving and fun.
These little fruity designs can also be used to embellish clothing, bags and accessories. Forget the felt and simply embroider the outlines of your chosen fruit in a delicate split stitch with a few added beads for sparkle.
