OCTOBER Creative Embroidery Day Workshop CROWNS!

This day long creative embroidery and craft workshop wil give you the opportunity opportunity to learn, experiment and have a good old creative play.

My  studio is packed to the rafters with everything a crafter could want; beads, sequins, buttons, fabrics galore, needles, ribbons, transfers, iron on vinyl, a rainbow of threads and yarns, scissors, heat presses and stencils, all available for you to use. 

The workshops are suitable for adventurous beginners and more experienced stitchers, you will be able to work at your own pace and I will always be on hand to help. It's the perfect day to try your hand at a little bit of every wonderful thing embroidery has to offer! As we are approaching the festive season, this workshop will focus on making a set of decorated embroidered crowns. 

In the morning I will teach you some of my favourite stitches and help you design an abstract sampler using iron on vinyl and different textured wools and flosses.  After lunch you will begin to embelish your crowns with beads, sequins and other 3D items and I will show you how to make sequin flowers and ribbon pinwheels. If there is anything you have particularly wanted to know how to make or do from the Sewyeah creativerse then now is the time to come and learn! 

At the end of the day you will come away with a brain buzzing with ideas and a bag of goodies to keep you making!

The class is 11.15 am to 4.30pm. all materials, drinks and  refreshments provided (fruit platter and afternoon Cream Tea). Please bring your lunch (or funds to purchase from my local bakery/deli)

The Sewyeah Studio is conveniently located a 5 minute walk from Ladywell Station, a 15 minute train ride from London Bridge or Charing Cross.
