Need a creative break from the greyness of January? Come and join me for a calming and meditative evening of pattern creating and freestyle embroidery. Perfect for both newcomers to embroidery and those with some skills. I will begin by showing you how to make an abstract pattern from iron-on vinyl and material offcuts and then you will embroider and embellish over the top to create a beautiful work of art.
Whether you already know your Fly Stitch from your French Knots or you haven't a clue what I'm talking about then this freestyle embroidery workshop is for you. I will be teaching simple but effective embroidery stitches that everyone can master. If you are already a master with a needle then come along anyway and experiment with embellishment and pattern making.
