About the Event
Join me for a fun and informal online workshop where I'll be showing you some nifty techniques to help you wrap your gifts more sustainably this Christmas. Forget glittery wrapping papers and annoying sticky tape; all you really need is a few squares of fabric.
I'll be showing you some of the projects from my book Zero Waste Gift Wrap and giving step by step instructions to several Furoshiki knots and wraps. I'll show you specific wraps for objects such as bottles and books and then more general wraps you can use for everything from clothes, to that one weird-shaped-gift-that-everyone-buys-but-can't-make-look-good! You can join in at home, ask questions and we'll all have a lovely time.
What you'll need
Squares of thin fabric: approx 50-70cm. Silk or polyester scarves work well as do thin cotton, viscose, and fat quarters
Some books, bottles, tins - your actual Christmas Presents if you're that…
