Embellished Eye Textile Talisman

Create your own textile talisman in this fun and creative two-hour embroidery and embellishment workshop. The eye has long been used as a symbol of protection and good fortune so join me and create one unique and personal to you.

You will begin the workshop by choosing your eye colour, then learn simple stitching and beading techniques to create the eye white and a personalised iris. Next you will design your eye surrounds using a treasure trove of vintage and preloved trimmings, beads and sequins. Create extravagant eyelashes and elaborate embellishments, or keep things strikingly simple and graphic.
