EASTER POMPOM WREATH

SO! This workshop was going to be running on Thursday 26th of March, we were all going to gather in the lovely LoveCrafts offices and make pompoms to our heart's content. Due to The Weirdness Of The World right now the plans have changed and I am going to be sending out all the materials you will need to create this wreath in the comfort of your own home. 

I had a chat with the lovely ladies who already had tickets and they all really wanted to still be involved and do some crafting. They suggested that rather than having an intense 2.5 hour workshop I could 'drip feed' the instructions over a few days/weeks so we could all make at our leisure. 

I think this is an excellent idea and am currently working out how best to deliver the information - It'll probably be a mix of PDF instructions, IGTV, posts and maybe something like Zoom or Microsoft Teams. 

I'm having a lot of fun working out colour schemes and packing up materials to send out. The package will include: 25cm wire wreath base, 6 (ish) meters of super chunky yarn for covering the wreath, a selection of yarns for making the pompoms, Two sizes of pompom maker, felt sheets, felt balls and sequins for making flowers. All you will need are some scissors and maybe a glue gun (but it's totally possible to make without one (but, but if ever there was an excuse to buy a glue gun now's the time!!)

Missing your Christmas pompom wreath?  Fret no more and come and join Christine at this two hour workshop amd make a 25cm diameter pompom wreath in a colour scheme of your choice. She will be teaching simple crochet and plaiting techniques for covering the metal wreath frame and showing you how to make a selection of plain and multi coloured pompoms for decoration. Once you have fixed the pompoms to the wreath create felt flowers for the finishing Spring time touches.  

This workshop is in association with LoveCrafts. Your ticket price covers all materials and light refreshments.
