BOHO WOVEN WALL HANGING

Be part of the macrame and weaving gang and come and make a stylish boho wall hanging. Join Christine at this two hour workshop and learn to make this bang-on-trend piece of wall art. 

Working with a 20cm diameter metal copper hoop Christine will show you how to prepare the hoop with simple macrame techniques to create the basis for the weave and fringing then using a mixture of beautifully textured wools and fibres you will  create a wonderfully tactile weave using a variety of weaving techniques including soumak, looped and rya knots. 

This workshop is in association with LoveCrafts. Your ticket price  covers all materials and light refreshments.

ABOUT CHRISTINE LEECH

Christine Leech loves to make things and loves to teach people how to make things! Having written 9 books on subjects from pom-poms to papercraft, printing, stitching and home sewing there’s not many crafts she can’t handle (apart from knitting and crochet!) She’s friendly, approachable and loves a crafty chat. Having run workshops for 3 to 300 people she is proud she’s doing her bit to make the world a more handmade place. Her projects are regularly featured in magazines such as Mollie Makes and Prima she was also one of the Craft Experts on Channel  4’s Kirsties Celebrity Craft Masters in 2019.
